ya know what sucks.... when you plan your lunches, put it in a bag, on a step stool in the kitchen, put stuff in the bag, for the whole week (i have a kitchen with a fridge at work) and leave it behind.... just inreach of a tiny dog who LOVES to explore bags of stuff.... rip it to shreds. and you forgot to do the crate thing... cuz you whole morning was a little off.... that's what sucks... goin home to the aftermath of a perfect storm. lol

Went to the little dog- dog park. Pretty hysterical. Very different from the big dog- dog parks I used to go to with Kai... It was full of tiny-barky-speedy dogs. Now. Roxy fully asleep of happy dog-park exhaustion. :) cute.

To those of you who crate during the day, when you are at work, don't the dogs get thirsty? I'm worried she'll get dehydrated.

Saving America's bees from chemical Armageddon
Quietly, across the USA, millions of bees are dying, threatening our crops and food. A new bill this week could ban one group of deadly pesticides and save bees from annihilation, but only if Congress feels the sting of public opinion. America’s bees are facing a chemical Armageddon -- just last week, 50,000 died in a single car park in Oregon after being exposed to pesticides, and last winter over 50% of all California’s bees died. Leading scientists blame one group of pesticides called neonicotinoids. The evidence is so compelling that the entire European Union has begun banning them, and the Save America's Pollinators Act could impose a ban on these deadly poisons in the US. Now it's up to us to get our politicians to save America's bees. Big Agriculture and powerful chemical companies like Bayer are already lobbying hard to stop the bill, but if we show an overwhelming public support for a ban, we can counter their influence. Sign the petition on the right and tell everyone -- when Avaaz reaches 250,000 signers, they will take their giant inflatable bee to Capitol Hill to tell Congress to save our bees.

Came home tonight to... Empty gum wrappers and chewed up box it came in.... And Apparently a missing glass butterfly which daughter is convinced dog ate. Said glass butterfly is very small, and no sharp edges, but said dog is also very very small. Thinking her intestines are even tinier. I think I might be stopping at the vet in the morning. Glass butterflies and chewing gum, and god knows what else she ate. I am cranky now. >:( and worried

Is anyone available for a dog sit, July 29 to August 4 or 5th? It can happen at my house or your's. She is 8 lbs. of spitfire, but takes up very little room. And she likes belly rubs isn't her belly cute? and super cute when she sleeps and snores her little snores. :) Lena and I are going to a girl scout family camp. Arranged many months before little foxy Roxy joined our family. :)

Thinking of renaming Roxy to pixel, and calling her pixie. Lol I think the name fits her better. Also she had a ton of speckles all over her skin and fur. Lena's into it. Pixel the pixie.

i am sad. i told the kid to go outside and play yesterday. we are at my work. it's like a park outside... she said no. she was afraid. that no one was there to watch her. that she might get stolen! i have never said this to her... but apparently i haven't inspired enough bravery in her. makes me sad she doesn't wanna go out and explore.
